TIME TO SPEAK UP!!

Being myself in twenties, I can completely apprehend the things youngsters go through. I have analyzed through my past experiences that teens face many judgments. However, the society we live in, girls are being judged and misunderstood most of the times.

Human faces different phases in life. At first, he/she is an adolescent taking all the attentions from everyone. Then grow up a little, absorbing all the energies from the environment whether negative or positive. This phase comes when the child starts to interact with the people of his/her age and size i.e. when kids start the schooling or interacts with peer groups. After this comes the real phase, when a person start developing personality based on what he/she has gathered, positive or negative.

A child when becomes a sensible being, he\she develops a character of what he\she have witnessed while interacting with people, communicating with humans of his\her age. They are misunderstood because the elders want them to be a certain kind of person without even realizing that every individual is born with altered mindset. Not all individual go through same process of life. Life brings up different challenges for diverse person and thus every other person has a different way of seeking things. This fact is not accepted by the older generation, who still try to mold the child according to what they want the child to be as he/she grows up.

Moreover, every person goes through behavioral changes in their life. Many people accepts the change and transform their behavior for the better. Young minds are those minds that are ready to take up change and are eager to adopt it. Thus, they make up a personality of themselves as the change demands from them. Our society is not flexible towards change. Thus, the young people have to face misunderstandings in our society. Labeled as either too mature or too childish.

Similarly, a girl when takes step towards change and is accepting the modern requirements, the society thus consider it as a shame especially the rural ones. She when owns her identity and gets aware of what her rights are, she is considered disgrace according to our society. Marx’s Glass ceiling is actually present in the form of hurdles she faces when she moves in society. From early age, she is taught to obey. Obey what? The hurdles?

Another fact here is that, elders try to explain the young ones through their experiences. In fact, every individual learns from his\her own experiences. Individual cannot learn by just listening to other’s perspective. Any one can only learn through struggles and by never giving up.

According to me, individual must be allowed to do what they like or what they want to follow. They must not be shut down, but allowed to speak what they desire and what they want. The dreams and ambitions must not be decided by the society but by an individual independently. Or else creative minds will keep suffering. These are the certain things that people need to understand. We have to let the young ones go through their struggles so that they could become a person of their own. Young minds must be understood too. Let them speak up.

  1. Emm That was good but in my opinion obviously everyone has his/her own way of thinking but the point is just to put someone on right direction not to mold their minds but just show them right path and our elders have experience of life. One Don't have to be disgraceful or discouraged. Show them the right path and boost up their "جنون" for the right direction
